About the USHSTA

The United States High School Tennis Association, Inc. was founded in 2000 to provide free and low-cost information and resources for high school tennis coaches.

The USHSTA keeps in mind that you don’t coach tennis — you coach youngsters.

For example, here’s a list of benefits females get from playing organized sports.

The USHSTA, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation, but not a 501(c) tax-exempt organization. Because of it provides mostly free resources for high school coaches, the USHSTA doesn’t generate enough revenue to warrant 501(c) status.

The USHSTA was originally founded as the US High School Tennis Coaches Association and still does some business as (DBA) USHSTCA, claiming copyright to that name and mark, and the USHSTCA will be expanding its activities starting in 2018.

No one receives any compensation for the work they do for the USHSTA.

The executive director of the USHSTA is Steve Milano.
